The app will fill a huge gap that currently exists in the educational and clinical environments for Healthcare students.
HippoCLIN was developed to fill a widening practical education gap the clinical education sector. Healthcare students need a full hands-on learning experience during clinical rotations, which includes navigating in an electronic medical record.
The best teaching tool is one which the user is able to learn in a digital environment full of technology that mimics current electronic health record practices, functionality, visualization, adaptation, and learning practices.
The HippoCLIN App will fill that gap.
HippoCLIN strives to be the preferred EHR app for Healthcare students, designed with a comprehensive and safe training environment for practicing patient care management, the type of technical platform that many only experience after they have graduated.
Healthcare students will reap the rewards of having the ability to practice, grow, and learn in an environment that is safe for them to use with the added benefit of obtaining exposure to technology that many clinicians never experience until only after they graduate.

Vanessa K. Williams-Harvey is a life-long advocate for setting lofty standards and helping others to achieve their goals and life purpose. She practices as a registered nurse and currently works as a Clinical Informatics Manager. In this role, she can connect with diverse groups and people where she engages and empowers each of them to push onward and upward.
Vanessa sees the value in preparing our future leaders and caregivers by providing them with the technological, developmental, and educational experiences that will catapult their clinical learning experience to the next level and best reflects care provided as in the real world, in real life and in real-time.
Vanessa is a subject matter expert in her field and is using years of firsthand experience to create a learning environment where students learn, understand, thrive, and develop into competent and efficient clinicians. For fun, Vanessa enjoys family time at home, attending church, fishing, hiking and roller skating. Vanessa is married to her husband, Mark Harvey, and they are the proud parents of four sons, one granddaughter and dog, Maxx Harvey.
